This museum is located in a historical building from the Qajar period called Qavam al-Sultaneh House.History:The Museum of Water and Pottery was established in 1355 by the Ministry of Culture and Art. This museum was originally located in Saadabad Palace, but in 1377 it was moved to Qawam Al-Sultaneh Mansion.Collection:Abgineh and Earthenware Museum has exhibited a valuable collection of Iranian glass and earthenware from prehistoric times to the contemporary era. This collection includes more than 30,000 works collected from different parts of Iran.Halls:The Water and Pottery Museum has 5 halls:Golden Hall: In this hall, glass and pottery objects from prehistoric times to the Qajar period are exhibited.Sadaf Hall: In this hall, glass and pottery objects from the Qajar period to the contemporary period are exhibited.Lazord Hall: Glass and pottery objects donated to the museum are displayed in this hall.Gallery Hall: In this hall, temporary exhibitions of the works of contemporary artists are held.Library: The museum has a specialized library with more than 5000 books on glass and pottery.Green space:The Water and Pottery Museum has a beautiful and pleasant green space, which is a suitable place for visitors to relax and have fun.
