Tomb of Shah Nematullah Wali: A jewel in the heart of the desertThe tomb of Shah Nematullah Vali, a famous Iranian mystic, is located in Mahan city of Kerman province. This tomb, which is known as one of the most beautiful and magnificent tombs in Iran, receives many pilgrims and tourists from all over Iran and even abroad every year.Architecture:The tomb of Shah Nematullah Wali was built and completed during different historical periods. The oldest part of this complex is the dome, which was built in the Timurid period. In the Safavid, Qajar and Pahlavi periods, various parts were added to this collection.Different sections:Gondkhaneh: Gondkhaneh is the burial place of Shah Nematullah Vali. The dome of this building with a height of 15 meters is decorated with turquoise colored tiles.Courtyard: The main courtyard of the mausoleum is a large and clean space with a large pond in the middle.Porticos: Around the courtyard, there are numerous porticos that display tombs of famous people as well as works of art and history.Museum: In this museum, Shah Nematullah Wali's personal items and accessories as well as exquisite manuscripts and Qurans are displayed.Best travel time:The best time to visit the tomb of Shah Nematullah Vali is in spring and autumn. In these seasons, the climate of Mahan city is mild and you can enjoy visiting the tomb more.Access path:To reach the tomb of Shah Nematullah Wali, you have to go from Kerman to Mahan. The tomb is located in the center of Mahan city and you can easily find it.
