Tomb of Ibn Yamin Farumdi: Tomb of a famous poetThe tomb of Ibn Yamin Fromoudi is located in the village of Fromoud, 105 km northeast of Miami city in Semnan province. This tomb is the burial place of Ain al-Din Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Yamin Faryoumdi, known as Ibn Yamin, a famous Iranian poet in the 8th century AH.Ibn Yamin was born in Faryumd in 685 AH and died in 769 AH. During his lifetime, he wrote many odes, ghazals, and masnavits. Among his most famous poems is an ode that begins with this verse:He who knows and knows to knowA small horse jumps from the domeThe mausoleum of Ibn Yamin was built on his grave during the Timurid era. This mausoleum consists of a brick building with a tall dome. Inside the mausoleum, there is the tomb of Ibn Yamin, as well as the tombs of several other elders.The tomb of Ibn Yamin Farumdi was registered as one of the national monuments of Iran in 1381.Visiting the tomb of Ibn Yamin can be a unique experience for you.
