At that time, this tower was used as a guidepost for caravans, as well as a place for calling the call to prayer and announcing the time.Architecture:The architecture of Toghrel Tower is simple and at the same time magnificent. This tower consists of a brick body with a height of 20 meters. The body of the tower is decorated with 24 vertical cracks that add to its beauty.Function:Toghrel Tower has had various functions throughout history. At first, this tower was used as a guidepost for caravans, as well as a place for calling the call to prayer and announcing the time. In later periods, this tower was also used as a tomb.Repair and reconstruction:Toghrel tower has been restored many times throughout history. The first restoration of this tower was done during the Safavid era. During the Qajar period, Naser al-Din Shah Qajar ordered the restoration of this tower.
