The Sotoedeh Chalanteri House (Khoda Rahm Khan House): a gem of Qajar architecture in the heart of ZagrosThe famous Sotodeh house, which is also known as Khodarahm Khan house, is a gem of Qajar architecture in the heart of Zagros. This house is located in the most challenging village of Shahrekord city in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, and it has been registered as one of the national monuments of Iran.History of the house:The praised house of Chalontari was built about 120 years ago during the Qajar era by Khodarahm Khan Chalontari, one of the Bakhtiari Khans. This house has been the residence of Sotoudeh family throughout history.House architecture:In terms of architecture, Sotoudeh More Challenging House is a unique and spectacular building. This house is built on two floors using materials such as stone, brick and clay. Various decorations and motifs such as brickwork, tiling and plastering have been used in the construction of the house.Different parts of the house:Chalantari Sotoudeh house has different parts such as interior, exterior, yard, pond, porch, entrance, etc. The interior was the residence of Khoda Rahm Khan's family. Biruni was the meeting place with guests and elders of Bakhtiari family. The yard and the pool are used for relaxation and recreation. The porch and entrance of the house are one of the most beautiful parts of the house and are decorated with beautiful decorations and motifs.Museum of Anthropology:Currently, in the inner part of the Sotoudeh Chalateri house, there is an anthropology museum. In this museum, objects and accessories of Bakhtiari people's life in the past are displayed.Current status of the house:A more challenging house is currently in private ownership. This house was registered as one of the national monuments of Iran in 1378 AH. Fortunately, this fort has been renovated in recent years and is now in good condition.
