The Naderi Staircase, also known as the Thousand Nader Steps, is a masterpiece of Iranian engineering during the Afshariya era. This staircase, which is located 4 kilometers east of Kapkan village on the southern slope of Allahu Akbar mountain, 88 kilometers from the old road from Guchan to Darghaz, paved a difficult way for Nader Shah's army to pass through the mountain.The Naderi staircase is about 1 km long and consists of about 1000 steps. This staircase is made in a variable width between 2 and 5 meters and has twists in some places.The main materials used in the construction of Naderi stairs are stone and mortar. To build the stairs, first the stones were cut in a suitable way and then they were connected to each other using mortar. In some places, bricks have been used to decorate the stairs.Naderi staircase played an important role in Nader Shah's wars. This staircase allowed Nader Shah's troops to quickly and easily pass through the mountain and attack the enemy.In addition to the historical value, the Naderi staircase also has a natural and touristic value. This staircase is located in a mountainous area with a very beautiful view. The existence of this staircase has added to the beauty of the area and turned it into a suitable tourist attraction.Today, Naderi Staircase is one of the tourist attractions of Razavi Khorasan region. Tourists can climb this staircase and enjoy the beautiful view of the area.
