This valley is located 25 kilometers north-east of Deir city and in the vicinity of Durahek village, and due to its unique beauty and natural attractions, it has become one of the popular tourist destinations in this province.Denomination:The name "Tang Heikh" is composed of two words "Tang" which means valley and "Heikh" which is the name of a local tree.Outstanding properties:Length: Tang Heikh is about 4 kilometers long and its width reaches less than 10 meters in some places.Height: The height of the walls of Tang Heikh reaches more than 100 meters in some places and displays the greatness and splendor of nature.Water: along the path of Tang Heikh, there are many springs whose clear and pleasant water flows into a small river at the bottom of the valley and brings freshness and vitality.Vegetation: Tang Heikh Maman is home to a variety of local plants and trees, including palm trees, figs, and mountain almonds, which have created significant biodiversity.Wildlife: A variety of wild animals, including mountain goats, deer and partridges, live in Tang Heikh and add to the natural charm of this area.
