Takht Suleiman lake: a gem in the heart of Iranian historyTakht Suleiman Lake, which is also known as Takht Suleiman and Azarghashneb fire pit, is a relic of the ups and downs of Iran's history, which is located 45 km northeast of Takab city in West Azarbaijan province. The history of this collection goes back to the Sasanian period and it has been around 1700 years.History:Takht Suleiman complex was used as an important fire temple during the Sasanian period. This complex was restored and renovated in the Ilkhanian period and was used as a summer palace.Architecture:The complex of Takht Suleiman consists of different parts such as Azargashnesab Fire Temple, Ilkhani Palace, Takht Suleiman Lake, Suleiman Prison and Anahita Temple. Azargashnesab fire temple is the most important part of this complex, which is located in the center of Lake Takht Suleiman. This fire temple is built as a four-arched building with a dome in the center.Lake Takht Suleiman is another attractive part of this complex. This lake has turquoise blue and is very beautiful. The depth of this lake in its center reaches about 70 meters.Importance:Takht Suleiman collection is very important. This collection was registered as the fourth work of Iran in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1382. This complex is one of the most important tourist attractions in Iran.
