Siboyeh tomb, the tomb of a prominent Iranian scientistThe tomb of Sibuyeh, known as Sibuyeh Shirazi, is located in the Sang Siah neighborhood of Shiraz, in the southwest of this city, and in the Bahliyeh cemetery. This tomb is the burial place of Abu Abdullah Amr bin Othman bin Qanbar, known as Siboyeh, a famous Iranian linguist who lived in the second century AH and is known as the father of Arabic grammar.History of the building:The first building of Siboyeh tomb was built in the second century AH on the grave of this prominent Iranian scientist. Over time and throughout history, this building has been restored many times. The current building of the tomb, which was built by the Association of National Artifacts in 1353 AH, is a hall 8 meters long and 5 meters wide on the north side of the tomb, which includes arches with mosaic tiles, the work of Khorasani artists.Building specifications:Gravestone: Siboye's gravestone is made of marble and poems are engraved on it describing the scientific status and high position of this famous linguist.Inscription: On the inner walls of the mausoleum, there are inscriptions in Nastaliq and Tholut scripts, which describe Siboye's status and scientific position and provide visitors with valuable information.Green space: The area of Siboyeh tomb is decorated with trees and green space and provides a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere for visiting and paying respect to the status of this great Iranian scientist.Importance:As the tomb of one of the greatest Iranian linguists and the father of Arabic grammar, Siboyeh Tomb is of great historical and cultural importance. This mausoleum is also one of the tourist attractions of Shiraz city, it is of interest to domestic and foreign tourists and receives many visitors from all over the world every year.
