Shah Semnan Mosque: a gem in the heart of the desertShah Semnan Mosque, which is also known as Sultani Mosque and Imam Mosque, is one of the most beautiful and important historical mosques in Iran. This mosque is located in the center of Semnan city and is known as one of the main tourist attractions of this city due to its magnificent architecture and delicate decorations.History:The Shah Semnan Mosque was built in the Qajar period by the order of Fath Ali Shah Qajar. The construction of this mosque lasted for about 20 years and was completed in 1222 AH.Architecture:Shah Semnan Mosque is a type of mosque with four porches and has four porches on the north, south, east and west sides. The south porch is longer and higher than the other porches and is decorated with beautiful tiles.The dome of Shah Semnan Mosque is located in the middle of the courtyard of the mosque and is decorated with turquoise tiles. The minarets of the mosque are also located on both sides of the south porch and are among the tallest minarets in Semnan.Decorations:Shah Semnan Mosque has very beautiful and delicate decorations. Tiling, moqrans work, plastering and painting are among the decorations of this mosque.

The tiles of Shah Semnan Mosque are unique in their kind and have a special variety and elegance. These tilings are executed in different colors and with slime, geometric and flower designs.The moqrans works of Shah Semnan Mosque are also very beautiful and delicate and are used in the porches, dome and altar of the mosque.The stucco moldings of Shah Semnan Mosque also have a special elegance and beauty and are used in the decoration of the ceiling and walls of the mosque.The paintings of Shah Semnan Mosque are also unique in their kind and are used in the decoration of the porches and altars of the mosque.Importance:Shah Semnan Mosque, as one of the most beautiful and important historical mosques in Iran, has been registered in the list of national monuments of Iran. This mosque, in addition to its religious value, is also important in terms of architecture and art.
