Satan Island (Jazireh-ye Sheitan)


Satan Island (Jazireh-ye Sheitan) is a small rocky island located in the southeast of Iran. It's actually the easternmost island in Iran and is known for its beautiful scenery and rock formations.There is a legend that saying "Sheitan" is Persian for "devil" and it is believed that the island got its name from boats that sank after hitting the rocks around it after hitting the rocks.

However, there is an island in Sistan that is known as Jazireh-ye Dozakh, which means "Island of Hell" in Persian. This island is located in the Hamun-e Helmand wetland in the Sistan-Baluchistan province of Iran. It is a small, uninhabited island that is covered in sand dunes and salt flats. The island is said to be haunted by the spirits of people who have died in the wetlandThe name "Island of Hell" is thought to have originated from the fact that the island is often shrouded in fog and mist, giving it a foreboding appearance. The island is also said to be home to a variety of poisonous snakes and scorpions, which further adds to its reputation as a dangerous place.Despite its name, Jazireh-ye Dozakh is not actually a place of evil. In fact, it is a popular tourist destination for people who are interested in the natural beauty of the Hamun-e Helmand wetland. The island is also home to a variety of birdlife, including flamingos, pelicans, and herons.
