Sanandaj glass bath: a gem of Qajar architecture in the heart of KurdistanSanandaj Glass Bath, which is located on the north side of Kurdistan Boulevard and adjacent to Melawisi Bridge and Mosque, is one of the historical and scenic buildings of Sanandaj, dating back to the Qajar period. With its special and unique architecture, especially the use of colored glass in its construction, this bath has taken the name "Glass Bath" and is known as one of the tourist attractions of Kurdistan province.Architecture and decorations:Entrance: The glass bathroom has two separate entrances for men and women, which are located in two different alleys. The entrance door of the bathroom is decorated with a beautiful arch and brick arches.Vestibule: After passing through the entrance, there is a vestibule, which was a space for removing shoes and preparing to enter the bathroom. The vestibule of the glass bath has a tall dome and beautiful wall paintings.Sarbineh: the main space of the bathroom, which is covered with a tall dome and a large basin is located in its center. The Sarbineh basin of the glass bath is decorated with turquoise colored tiles and its ceiling skylights are decorated with beautiful colored glass.Vault: A warm and humid space used for washing and bathing. The glass bathhouse has a tall dome and beautiful wall paintings.Arches and domes: The glass bath has beautiful brick arches and domes that are made with special elegance.Decorations: Glass bathroom decorations include wall paintings, tiling, and the use of colored glass, which gives a special effect to this bathroom. The wall paintings of the glass bathroom include images of flowers, animals and slime motifs.
