Resort climbing areaTochal peak with a height of 3962 meters is located in the north of Tehran and is one of the most popular climbing destinations in Iran. This peak, which is part of the Alborz mountain range, is popular with climbers of different levels of experience due to its easy access, variety of climbing routes, and beautiful views.Climbing routes:Darband route: This route is the most common and easiest way to climb Tochal peak. This route starts from Darband, one of the neighborhoods in the north of Tehran, and after about 5 to 6 hours of walking, it reaches the peak.Golabdera route: This route is a little more difficult than the Darband route and starts from Golabdera, another neighborhood in the north of Tehran. This route reaches the peak after about 6 to 7 hours of walking.Shamshak route: This route is the most difficult way to climb Tochal peak and it starts from Shamshak, one of the ski resorts in the north of Tehran. This route reaches the peak after about 8 to 9 hours of walking.Possibilities:Cable car: Tochal cable car is one of the longest gondola lifts in the world, which extends from Darband to the height of 3742 meters of Tochal mountain.Shelters: On the way up to Tochal Peak, there are several shelters that climbers can use to rest and spend the night.Restaurants and Cafes: In Darband and Shamshak, there are many restaurants and cafes that climbers can use after climbing the peak.
