This ancient site, which was one of the most important ancient bases in the central part of the Iranian plateau at one point in history, is like a gate to the past.Stepping into the ancient site of Qoli Darvish gives you the feeling of traveling back in time. The high hills and the remains of old buildings tell of the times when this place was full of life and activity. In this area, you can see many works from different historical periods:Artifacts from the 5th and 3rd millennium BC, such as stone tools, pottery and cylinder seals.The remains of a city with all the features and social and economic relations related to the Iron Age, including the remains of houses, workshops, temples and cemeteries.Works related to the Islamic period, such as mosques, schools and aqueductsArchaeological excavations in the ancient site of Qoli Darvish have provided archaeologists with valuable information about the history and culture of the region. These excavations show that Qoli Darvish area was an important cultural and commercial center in the past. For example, the discovery of cylinder seals shows the connection of this region with other parts of Mesopotamia. Also, the discovery of metal smelting workshops shows the skills of the people of this region in various industries.Unfortunately, the ancient site of Qoli Darvish is not in a good condition and needs the attention of the authorities and restoration.
