Pol Dokhtar Mianeh (Qiz Korposi): A gem on the fabric of historyDokhtar Miane or Qiz Korposi bridge is a historical bridge with a unique architecture, which is located 20 kilometers southeast of Miane city and in the middle of the road from Miane to Zanjan, on the Qezal Ozen river in the heart of the Kafilankoh mountain range.History:The exact date of construction of Dokhtar Miane Bridge is not known, but some archaeologists attribute the history of its foundation to the Sassanid era and some its architecture to the 8th century of Hijri. According to the architectural style of the bridge, it seems that this building was renovated during the Ilkhanian period.Architecture:The middle daughter bridge has three spans and four legs. The foundations of the bridge are made of stone and mortar, and the body of the bridge is decorated with bricks. There are two brick towers on both sides of the bridge that add to its beauty.Naming:The middle girl bridge is called by this name because of a local legend. According to this legend, a king's daughter takes refuge behind this bridge to save her life from her enemies and ends up being killed.Importance:Middle Daughter Bridge was registered as one of Iran's historical monuments in 1310 in the list of national monuments of Iran. This building is a clear example of bridge building architecture in the Islamic era and is very important in terms of history and architecture.
