This palace, which was built in 1347 by the order of Shams Pahlavi, the sister of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, is a relic of the Pahlavi era, which contains stories of luxury, history and ups and downs of that period.

Unique architecture:

William Wesley Peters, a prominent Iranian-Austrian architect, created a special and eye-catching palace inspired by Iranian architecture and Western modernity.The main structure of the palace is similar to a fish table surrounded by a shell.The interior decorations of the Pearl Palace show the utmost elegance and luxury. Exquisite marbles, gold, silver, ivory and wall paintings have all played a role in creating a magnificent and luxurious atmosphere.History witness:

A treasure in danger:

Unfortunately, after the Islamic revolution, the Pearl Palace was confiscated and due to lack of care and restoration, it is at risk of destruction. A valuable treasure that could play an important role in the economic and cultural prosperity of Karaj city and Alborz province as a museum, tourist attraction and cultural center is being destroyed.

Hope for revival:

Fortunately, in recent years, efforts have been started to revive this historical palace. Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization of Alborz Province and Karaj Municipality are planning to restore and restore Pearl Palace.
