This museum was originally located on Ferdowsi Street, but in 2009 it was moved to its current building on Valiasr Street.Collection:The Money Museum displays a valuable collection of coins, notes, and money-related objects from prehistoric to contemporary times. This collection includes more than 300,000 works collected from different parts of Iran.Sections:The Money Museum has different sections:Pre-Islamic section: In this section, coins and objects related to money from the pre-Islamic era are displayed.Islamic section: In this section, coins and objects related to money from the Islamic era are displayed.Banknote section: In this section, Iranian banknotes from the Qajar period to the contemporary period are exhibited.Documents Section: In this section, documents related to the history of money in Iran are exhibited.Library Department: The museum has a specialized library with more than 5000 books on money and coins.location
