Mausoleum of Mohtsham Kashani: Ma'man, the poet of Iranian elegyThe tomb of Mohtsham Kashani, a famous Iranian poet and prominent mourner of the Karbala incident, is located in Kashan city. This historical building, which was built in the Safavid period, is known as one of the tourist attractions of Kashan city and receives a huge number of domestic and foreign tourists every year.History:Mohtsham Kashani died in 996 AH and was buried in Bagh Fin Kashan. In 1341 AH, with the efforts of the National Artifacts Association of Iran, a tomb was built for this famous poet at the current location and his body was moved to this place.Architecture:Mohtsham Kashani's tomb is built in a space of about 80 square meters. The building of this mausoleum includes two parts: dome and entrance.Dome: The dome of Mohtsham Kashani tomb is a square space built on four stone pillars. The dome of this building is a type of two-layered domes and is decorated with turquoise tiles.Entrance: The entrance to the tomb of Mohtsham Kashani is a porch located on the south side of the building. Above this porch, there is a marble inscription on which a poem by Mohtsham Kashani describing the incident of Karbala is engraved.
