Masjid al-Nabi (Sultani Mosque) is one of the mosques of Qazvin city, which was built during the Qajar period by the order of Fath Ali Shah Qajar. This mosque is located on the south side of Imam Khomeini street and in the traditional market of Qazvin. .Al-Nabi Mosque is unique in terms of the size and area of the chapels and the architectural style. This mosque has an area of 14,000 square meters and includes a courtyard, a porch, a shrine, a dome, a minaret, and a gate.The entrance to the mosque is possible through three gates: North, West and East. The northern entrance is very large and magnificent and is decorated with enamel tiles and moqrans work. Above the northern gate, there is a porch with a large minaret on top of it.The courtyard of the mosque is rectangular and has a large stone pond in the middle. The naves of the mosque are located on four sides of the courtyard and have stone columns and brick arches. The dome of the mosque is located in the middle of the courtyard and is decorated with turquoise tiles.Al-Nabi Mosque in Qazvin is one of the most important religious and historical buildings in Iran and many tourists visit it every year.The architectural decorations of Al-Nabi Mosque in Qazvin are very beautiful and impressive. Among these decorations, the following can be mentioned:Tiling: Masjid al-Nabi is decorated with enamel tiles and seven colors. These tiles are used in the fronts, porches, naves and dome of the mosque.Moqranskari: Moqranskari is one of the main elements of decoration in Iranian architecture. These paintings include religious and historical images.Inscriptions: There are many inscriptions in Nastaliq and Thuluth script in Masjid al-Nabi.
