Kharghan towers: a gem in Iranian historyKharghan towers are a set of three brick towers near Kharghan village in Qazvin province. These towers, which date back to the Seljuk period, are among the important historical and religious monuments of Iran.History:The towers of Kharghan were built in the late 5th century AH by the order of Abu Saeed Khodashah, the ruler of Qazvin at the time. These towers were originally used as minarets of Jame Kharghan Mosque. But with the passage of time and the destruction of the mosque, the towers have remained as the only relic of it.Architecture:Kharghan towers are an example of tomb towers in terms of architecture. These towers are made of bricks and have brickwork decorations and Kufic inscriptions.The first tower: It is the tallest tower in the complex and has a height of 20 meters and a diameter of 10 meters.The second tower: It is shorter than the first tower and has a height of 15 meters and a diameter of 8 meters.The third tower: it is the shortest tower in the complex and has a height of 10 meters and a diameter of 6 meters.
