The adobe and mud houses with tall and stable gables, the 800-year-old Jame Mosque, the Kharanag Castle with its amazing architecture, and the old caravanserai all speak of the rich history and culture of this region.Kharanagh Castle, a strong fortress in the heart of the desert:Kharanagh Castle is the most important historical attraction of this region. This castle dates back to the Sassanid era and its area is about one hectare. High and thick walls, watchtowers, a large central courtyard and numerous rooms have turned Kharanagh Castle into a strong fortress in the heart of the desert. The architecture of this castle is an example of the skill and creativity of Iranian architects in the desert climate.Kharanagh Caravanserai, a shelter for travelers on the Silk Road:Kharanagh Caravanserai is another historical attraction of this region. This caravanserai dates back to the Safavid era and was located on the Silk Road.
