Founder: The museum's establishment in 1934 owes much to the efforts of Dr. Abdolhossein Mirza Fermanfarmaian, a pioneer in Iranian zoology. Dr. Mirza Fermanfarmaian's passion and commitment to animals and biodiversity conservation laid the foundation for this valuable museum.Location: Initially, the Zoology Museum was housed at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine of Tehran University in Karaj. In 1995, with the establishment of the University of Tehran's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Karaj, the museum also relocated to this campus. This move provided an opportunity to expand the museum's space and offer enhanced services to visitors.Objectives: Education, research, and biodiversity conservation are the three pillars upon which the Zoology Museum's activities rest. The museum contributes to raising public awareness in the field of zoology through diverse educational programs. Additionally, researchers and students utilize the museum's collections for scientific inquiries. Preserving and protecting endangered animal species is another crucial objective of the museum.Diverse Exhibits:
