Harandi House (Harandi Museum Garden): A journey in the history and culture of KermanHerandi House or Herandi Museum Garden is a gateway to the history and culture of Kerman. This complex, which is located in the heart of Kerman city, shines like a jewel among the multitude of modern houses. This house dates back to the Qajar period and its architecture is a unique example of Iranian art and creativity in that period.Architecture:Harandi house consists of two parts, inner and outer. The inner part with pleasant courtyards, green garden, and turquoise ponds provides a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere for its residents. The outer part has also been a place for receiving guests and holding various ceremonies, with magnificent halls, long porches, and tiling and moqranskari decorations.Archaeological Museum:In the archaeological museum of Harandi House, objects and accessories related to different historical periods, including the prehistoric, Achaemenid, Sassanid, and Islamic eras, are exhibited. These objects, collected from different parts of Kerman province, tell the story of the ups and downs of this land.Museum of traditional instruments:The Harandi House Traditional Instruments Museum is a unique collection of traditional Iranian instruments. In this museum, you can witness the variety and elegance of Iranian instruments, including tar, se tar, fiddle, centaur, and tambourine. Hearing the pleasant tunes of these instruments caresses the soul of every visitor.Tourist Attractions:In addition to two museums of archeology and traditional instruments, there are other attractions in the garden of Harandi Museum. Among these attractions, we can mention the bullring, the windmill, and the stable. Gavord has been a traditional system for transferring water from the depth of the well to the surface of the earth. The fan was also used to air condition the house in the extreme heat of Kerman. The stable was also a place to keep horses and other domestic animals.
