Haft Tanan Stone Museum: a treasure of stone and history in the heart of ShirazIntroduction:Haft Tanan Stone Museum, located in Haft Tanan Garden, is one of the most spectacular museums in Shiraz. This museum was put into operation in 2009 with the aim of displaying stone and historical works from different periods.Location:Haft Tanan Garden, where the Stone Museum is located, is located in the north of Hafez Tomb and at the foot of Mount Chehel Mogham. Due to its location and pleasant atmosphere, this garden is a suitable place to spend leisure time and visit the stone museum.Architecture:The Haft Tanan Stone Museum is located in a historical building from the Zandiye period. This mansion, which is also known as Zainat Al-Muluk House, has beautiful decorations and architecture from the Zandiya era.Effects:The Haft Tanan Stone Museum consists of two separate sections, the Stone Museum and the Tile Museum.Section of the Stone Museum:In the section of the stone museum, more than 2000 stone works from different historical periods, including the pre-Islamic period, the Achaemenid period, the Sasanian period, the Islamic period, and the contemporary period, have been exhibited. These works include tombstones, statues, stone vessels, stone tools, etc.Tile museum section:In the tile museum section, more than 1000 pieces of tiles from different historical periods, including the Seljuk period, the Ilkhanid period, the Timurid period, the Safavid period, the Zandiyeh period, and the Qajar period, have been exhibited. These tiles are very diverse and beautiful in terms of design and color.The role of the museum:Haft Tanan Stone Museum has an important role in preserving and reviving the history and culture of Iran. By collecting and displaying stone and tile works from different periods, this museum helps new generations to get to know the history and culture of their country.
