Fathabad Garden, Kerman: a journey in history and beautyThe Fathabad Garden of Kerman, known as Biglarbeigi Garden, is a gem in the heart of the desert and a treasure of Iranian history, architecture, and art. Walking in this garden is like a journey in history that takes you to the glory and greatness of Qajar Iran.History:Fathabad Garden was built in 1255 AH by the order of Fazl Ali Khan Biglerbeigi, the then ruler of Kerman. This garden was built on a land of 12 hectares and at the time of its construction, it was a model for the construction of Prince Mahan's garden.Architecture:The Fathabad garden with its magnificent architecture and eye-catching decorations is a manifestation of Iranian art and creativity in the Qajar period. The garden mansion is built on two floors and has many halls and rooms, long porches, and very beautiful tiling, brickwork, and painting decorations.Ponds:In the Fathabad garden, there are two large and beautiful ponds located on both sides of the mansion. These ponds, which are drunk with water from the aqueduct, give the garden a special freshness.Trees:In Fathabad garden, there are all kinds of fruit and decorative trees. Among the trees of this garden, we can mention cypress, orange, pomegranate, grape, and towering plane trees that create a cool and pleasant shade in the garden.User:Fathabad garden has had various uses throughout history. During the Qajar period, this garden was used as a resting place for the rulers of Kerman. In later periods, Fathabad garden has been used as a museum garden and a venue for various exhibitions.
