Farmarz Khan Caravanserai, a gem from the Qajar era in SabzevarHistory:Faramarz Khan Caravanserai, which is also known as Rabat Haj Faramarz Khan and Anthropology Museum of Sabzevar, is a relic of the Qajar era, which was built in 1291 AH by the order of Haj Faramarz Khan, one of the rich and benefactors of Sabzevar. This caravanserai is located in the west of Kargar Sabzevar Square and was registered as one of the national works of Iran on July 29, 1987 with registration number 2057.Architecture:Farmarz Khan Caravanserai is a type of caravanserai with four porches, and bricks and mortar are used in its construction. This building has two entrance doors in the north and south, a central courtyard, lofty porches, cells, stables and docks. Brick decorations, tiling and beautiful wall paintings have added to the glory of this caravanserai.user:In the past, Farmarz Khan Caravanserai was used as a resting and trading place for caravans on the Silk Road. During the first Pahlavi period, this building was used as a military barracks and then as a grain store.
