Dardar Bagh National

Dardar Bagh National: a symbol of Tehran's historySardar Bagh Melli was actually the entrance gate to Mashakh Square, which was built during the reign of Feth Ali Shah Qajar. This building is located on the north side of Imam Khomeini Street, on the east side of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on the west side of the Post and Telegraph Museum.Architecture:The architecture of Sardar Bagh National is a combination of Qajar and European styles. Fine plasterwork, beautiful brickwork, and eye-catching tiling bring a sense of grandeur and beauty.History:In the beginning, Mashakh Square was a place for military exercises. After the coup d'etat of 1299 and the deposing of Qajar, with the change of use of Mashakh Square, Sardar Bagh National remained as a symbol of Tehran's history.Importance:Sardar Bagh Melli is known as one of the symbols of Tehran city. This building has been registered in the list of national works of Iran.Tourist Attractions:In addition to the beautiful architecture, Sardar Bagh Melli is located near other tourist attractions in Tehran, including the Post and Telegraph Museum, the National Jewelry Museum, and Baharestan Square.Tips for visiting:Visiting the National Garden is free.No permission is needed to photograph this building.
