Bezijan is a village in Fars province, Iran, which is famous for its numerous petroglyphs. These petroglyphs, which date back to the Paleolithic era, show images of animals, humans, and various symbols.Bezijan petroglyphs are located in the mountains around Bezijan village. These petroglyphs are located at different heights and you have to walk to access them. Some petroglyphs are easily visible, while others are located in hard-to-reach places.Many Bezijan petroglyphs show images of animals. These animals include goat, wild cow, zebra, deer and wild ram. Some petroglyphs also show images of humans. These humans are hunting, dancing or performing religious ceremonies. Some of the petroglyphs also show various symbols such as sun, moon, star and cross.Bezijan petroglyphs are very important from a historical and cultural point of view. These petroglyphs are a window to the past and allow us to know more about the life of humans in the Paleolithic era. These petroglyphs also show the cultural and artistic diversity of Iran in ancient times.
