Angoorstan Malik al-Tajjar: a tour of historyMalek al-Tajjar vineyard, which is also known as Malik's vineyard, is one of the historical gardens of Isfahan city, which was built during the Qajar era by Haj Muhammad Ibrahim Malek al-Tajjar, one of the famous merchants of Isfahan. This garden, which is located on Malek Street, is used as a museum and cultural center today.Architecture and specifications:Architectural style: The architectural style of Angoristan belongs to Isfahani, and its decorations include tile work, wall paintings, plastering, and mirror work.Building: Angoristan property has two floors and there are several rooms on each floor. The central courtyard of the garden is very beautiful and pleasant.Decorations: Garden decorations are very exquisite and artistic. The mosaic and seven-color tilings with Slimi, Khatai and geometric motifs, wall paintings with different themes, delicate plasterwork and eye-catching mirror work have doubled the beauty of the garden.History:Malek al-Tajjar vineyard was built during the Qajar era by Haj Muhammad Ibrahim Malek al-Tajjar, one of the famous merchants of Isfahan. This garden was purchased by the Cultural Heritage Organization in 1379 AH (2000) and after restoration, it was used as a museum and cultural center.Today:Today, Malek Al-Tajjar's vineyard is used as a museum and cultural center, and a collection of documents and objects related to the history of Isfahan, Iranian art, and local culture are displayed in it. Also, various cultural programs such as exhibitions, festivals and educational workshops are held in this place.
