Akbariye Garden, a gem in the heart of the desertAkbariyeh Garden, also known as Delgosha Garden, is one of the most beautiful Iranian gardens located in the city of Birjand, the capital of South Khorasan province.This garden was built in the Qajar era by the order of Shaukat al-Molk, the then ruler of Birjand. Akbariyeh garden has been built in an area of about 4.5 hectares and has two sections, the northern garden and the southern garden.Northern Bagh has a mansion called Kolahferangi mansion, which is built on two floors. This mansion has very beautiful brick and tile decorations.The southern garden has a mansion called Heshmat al-Doulah mansion, which is built on two floors. This mansion has very beautiful painting and plaster decorations.Akbariye garden has a very high plant diversity.
